Mountain Man Rendezvous

Mountain Man recreates the life of 19th-century fur trappers, traders, and Native Americans. Scouts participate in hands-on activities such as fire-starting with flint & steel, tomahawk throwing, tracking & black powder shooting. They practice historical commerce through silent trading. The event includes a Mountain Man Run, where youth complete stations as fast as they can while showcasing Mountain Man skills. Outstanding participants are recognized with special awards for specific activities.
